Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)
This can be taken over 1,2,3 or 4 years dependant on your preferred term. There is an optional balloon payment at the end of the term if you wanted to purchase the vehicle and own it resulting in no further monthly payments being required. This is calculated as a guaranteed future value by the finance company.

Hire Purchase (HP)
This is very similar to a PCP agreement however has no balloon payment at the end. Once the last monthly instalment is paid you will own the car with no more monthlies required.

Personal Lease
This is a long-term rental over 2,3 or 4 years. There is no option to buy the car at the end. You simply hand it back with the keys and go again on another new one on either the same or a different finance product.

Lease Purchase
This is similar to a Hire Purchase however with a residual value balloon payment at the end which is payable if the car is kept for the full length of the contract.
